Night & Light

Title: Flash!. Date: 11/09/10 10:35pm, Location: Main Street Rexburg ID, F-Stop: f/6.3, Shutter Speed: 6.0, Camera: Canon PowerShot SX120 IS.Some edits were made after,I add a water mark and prepped the photo for the blog. I also brought the photo into camera RAW to adjust the bright-nice and the clarity. I was siting on main street one night and i manged to get a photo of flash running by me how cool is that. No this was taken using a tripod and having a care drive by with the shutter speed set for six seconds.

I also brought the photo into camera RAW to adjust the bright-nice and make the blacks way blacker, that is how i got it so black around the word love. This was taken using a tripod and using a small mag light with the leans removed. Because i do not have good hand writing like most guys my wife helped me out with this photo. She was the one that wrote love with the light. Thank you wife you are the best!

I also brought the photo into camera RAW to adjust the bright-nice and I made the blacks blacker. This is a photo of the Teton dam flood museum in Rexburg ID. IT was taken by me taken the picture and moving the camera side to side.

  2. I love your Teton Dam photo. I like that you can see where the original lights are. I also like your light painting also. I wonder how you made your writing look so clean. Mine never turned out when I tried a million different time. I probably needed a slower shutter. Good work!

  3. your photos are so creative. i love all of them. i tried so hard to make my "love" one look cursive"ish" i just couldn't figure it out. good job they all look great!
